Attorney Frank W. Chen received recognition from the judges of the Los Angeles Superior Court for his hours of volunteer service as a Temporary Judge (Judge Pro Tem). He has volunteered as a Temporary Judge for the Los Angeles Superior Court since 2005. Temporary Judges serve at the discretion of the Presiding Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court and must be members of the California State Bar in good standing for 10 years. They must complete an application for each three year term and receive training outlined in the California Rules of Court.
